Before your session, it helps to know what attendees see and what they can send you.
Check your session page

Open your session from Sessions or My Agenda. Attendees see the same page, in this order:
- Header: title, date, time and location. The location links to a map when your organiser has set one.
- About Session: the session description.
- Session Speakers: you and any co-speakers.
- Live Session: the video or stream link. If your organiser has set a start time for it, attendees see a countdown until it opens.
- Session Files: extra videos and files, each with a Download button.
- Session Discussions: a comment thread, if your organiser has turned it on for the session.
Attendees may also see buttons such as Add to Agenda, RSVP, Check in and Rate this session.
What to upload before the day
Go through this list a few days ahead:
- Speaker photo and bio. Attendees see these on your speaker page. See How Speakers Can Edit Their Profile and Upload Files.
- Session description. If your organiser lets you edit it, make sure it matches your talk.
- Video link. If you're presenting online, confirm with your organiser which link goes in Video Gallery. That's what attendees open under Live Session.
- Slides and handouts. Add up to 5 files to the session so attendees can download them. See How Speakers Can Edit Their Session Details, Videos and Files.
Check your speaker page

Open Speakers and search for your name. Attendees see your photo, social links, position, country, About, a Sessions list and your Files. Private sessions aren't listed there.
How Live Q&A works
#image# The Live Poll and QA panel beside a session video, with published questions and the Ask a question box
When your organiser has turned on Live QA for the session, attendees open the Live Poll and QA panel and type in Ask a question.... They can switch on As Anonymous to hide their name.
- New questions go to your organiser for review first. Attendees see "Your question is posted successfully and is under review by event admin".
- A question appears in the panel once your organiser publishes it. If your event publishes questions automatically, it appears straight away.
- Attendees can react to questions with hearts and emoji, and reply to them.
- You can answer in writing with Reply under any question.
Ask your organiser how they'll pass questions to you during the talk, for example whether a moderator will read them out.
Polls
Your organiser creates and runs polls. Attendees vote from the Polls button or the same panel. If the poll is set to show results, attendees see the vote counts and percentages after voting. If you want a poll in your talk, send the question and options to your organiser beforehand.
Check-in and ratings
- Check-in. Depending on the event, attendees click Check in themselves, or open their QR code so it can be scanned.
- Ratings. Attendees rate your session with Rate this session. Your organiser decides when rating opens: any time, after the session ends, or in the last few minutes of it.
For the attendee's side of each step, see How Attendees Can Use Live Q&A, Polls and Session Discussions and How Attendees Can Check In to a Session and Rate It.
