If you run the same conference, summit or roadshow more than once, you can duplicate an event instead of building it again. In Eventify this is called Clone. The copy keeps your event setup and leaves out everything your attendees created, so you start the next edition with a clean event.

Cloning takes about 2 to 4 minutes. The window shows "It may take approximately 2-4 mins. Please do not close the browser window." Keep the tab open until you see the message "Event Cloned Successfully". The new event then appears in your events list.
The clone is a replica of the event as it is set up now. This covers your event settings, the features you have switched on, your branding, and the content you added as an organiser, such as sessions, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors.
The new event gets its own event link. A custom domain is not carried over, so if the original used one, set it up again for the new event.
Anything your attendees created during the event is left out. The confirmation window lists it:

The clone starts with the same dates as the original event, and its name is the original name with three random characters added at the start. Update both before you publish.
Every person who becomes active in an event uses a credit, and that includes admins. See Understanding MAA Credits and License Usage in Eventify.
Is duplicating an event the same as cloning it?
Yes. Eventify calls it Clone. It creates a separate event, and changes you make to the copy don't affect the original.
Can I clone a past event?
Yes. Open the Past Events tab on the All Events screen and click Clone on the event card.
Why can't I see the Clone button?
Either your plan has reached its event limit, or the event belongs to a different account. Only events owned by your account show the button.
Will my attendees' messages and posts appear in the new event?
No. Chats, social and community posts, Q&A, polls and other attendee activity stay with the original event.
