The Companies page gives you one list of the organisations linked to your contacts and exhibitors. This is where company management happens in the Eventify event management platform: you add or edit a company, see who belongs to it, and choose which other companies can stand in for it. The Quorum Page then shows, session by session, which companies are present.

You can also reach the same page from People > Companies.
The list shows the companies linked to the event you are working in, with three columns: Company, Code and Type. Type in Search companies to find one by name. The list shows 20 companies per page, with page controls at the bottom when there are more.
To see the companies for a different event, switch to that event first, then open Companies again.
To change a company later:
Click the back arrow next to the company name to return to the list.

Open a company and click the Contacts tab to see the people linked to it. The table shows each contact's Name, Email and the Event they belong to.
Contacts can't be added or removed from this tab. It lists the people already linked to the company in your events.
A proxy company is another company whose delegates can represent this company. This matters when you need to know whether every member organisation is represented at a session, for example at a general assembly or a members' vote. If nobody from a company attends but a delegate from one of its proxy companies does, the company counts as represented by proxy on the Quorum Page.
Proxy companies are saved for the event you are working in. The companies you can choose from are the ones linked to that event, and the list only has options when the company you are editing is linked to the same event.
The Quorum Page is a board that shows which companies are represented at a session, based on session check-ins. It is designed to be shown on a screen during the session.

What the legend means:
The board lists companies alphabetically, grouped by first letter. It sorts companies into the Airline Members and Associate Members tabs using their Company Type, so a company without a matching type doesn't appear on the board. Use Refresh to load the latest check-ins, and the rotation control to page through a long list automatically at the interval you choose.
What is a proxy company in Eventify?
It is a company whose delegates can represent another company. When a proxy company's delegate checks in to a session, the company they stand in for shows as an effective proxy on the Quorum Page.
Why is a company missing from the Quorum Page?
The board only lists companies whose Company Type places them in one of its tabs. Edit the company and check its Company Type.
How does Eventify know who is present at a session?
The Quorum Page uses session check-ins. A company counts as present when at least one of its contacts has checked in to the session you selected.
Can I add contacts to a company from the Companies page?
No. The Contacts tab only lists the people already linked to the company.
