The email on your Eventify account is the one you log in to the admin panel with. You can change your account email yourself from Account Settings, and you can ask Eventify to delete your account from the same place. This article covers both, and what to do before you ask for deletion.

The window has a checkbox, Remove old email from all the events, which is ticked when the window opens. Leave it ticked if you want your old address taken out of all your events. Untick it to keep the old address in them.

When the change goes through, you see "Email Updated Successfully. Please re-login!" and Eventify logs you out a moment later. Log in again with the new address. The note in the window explains that you log in with the new email and the password sent to that new address, so check its inbox for the email from Eventify before you log in.
If you click Send Verification Code with the new email field empty, you see "New email is required". If you click Save without the code, you see "Mandatory data are not filled!". The Save button doesn't appear until a code has been sent.
Changing the email logs you out straight away. Finish any unsaved work in other tabs first.
#image# Account Settings Request To Delete Account page with the Delete button
Deleting an Eventify account is done by the Eventify team, not straight away from the admin panel. You send a request and the team acts on it.
When the request is sent, you see "Request submitted success! Admin will take action accordingly!". The Eventify team then processes it.
A deleted account takes all its data with it, including your events, attendees and reports. Before you send the request:
If you only want to stop using one event, close that event instead of deleting the whole account.
How do I change my account email in Eventify?
Go to Account Settings > Billing, click the pencil icon next to Email:, enter the new address, click Send Verification Code, type the code and click Save. You are then logged out and log in again with the new address.
Why was I logged out after changing my email?
This is expected. Eventify logs you out as soon as the change is saved so you can log in with the new address.
I didn't get the verification code. What should I do?
Check the spam folder of the new address and make sure you typed it correctly. The code goes to the new email, not the old one.
Is my account deleted as soon as I click Delete?
No. Clicking Delete and then Yes sends a request to the Eventify team, who then act on it.
Can I delete a single event instead of my whole account?
Yes. Close the event with Archive, or remove it with Purge and Delete Event. Your account and your other events stay as they are.
