When reviewing is done, accepted abstracts need to become registered presenters and sessions on your conference agenda. In Eventify you do this by confirming a submission: the author is registered for the event, gets a welcome email and, for speakers, can be linked to a session in the same step. This is the final stage of the abstract management software in the Eventify event management platform.

If the submission isn't shortlisted yet, the window says "Completing this action will move the response to 'Shortlisted'." If the author is already registered, it says so and the button reads Update & Confirm.
When it works you see "Welcome email sent successfully!". If the event has reached capacity, the author is registered on the waitlist and you see "User registered but added to the waitlist (event capacity reached). Shortlisted email was not sent."
In the board view you can't drag a card into the confirmed column. Confirming only works through Confirm Submission.
When you create a new speaker profile, step 2 is Session Mapping (Optional). Pick one option:

Click Create & Send Shortlisted Email to finish, or Skip Session & Confirm to confirm the presenter without a session. Use Back to return to the first step. You can create sessions later from the agenda. See How to Create a Session in Eventify.
When you create a new sponsor or exhibitor profile, step 2 is Company Mapping. Company Name is required. You can also match other submission answers to the fields of your sponsor or exhibitor form. Then click Create & Send Shortlisted Email.
Session mapping is only available when you confirm one submission at a time.
Instead of registering authors yourself, you can send them a ticket link so they register themselves.
Sending a ticket moves the submission to Shortlisted if it isn't already. To send tickets to several authors, open Actions and click Send Ticket To Multiple, or tick shortlisted submissions and click Send Tickets. Select the users, choose the tickets and click Send.

Confirmed authors get a welcome email and are registered in the event with the category you chose. In the abstract portal their submission shows as Confirmed, with the message "Congratulations! Your abstract submission has been confirmed." Authors you sent a ticket to get an email with the ticket link. See How to Track Your Abstract: Submission Statuses Explained.
What happens after an abstract is accepted?
You confirm it with Confirm Submission. The author is registered, gets a welcome email and can be linked to a session on the agenda.
Can I add a confirmed abstract to a session that already exists?
Yes. In Session Mapping (Optional), choose Assign to Existing Session and pick the session.
Why can't I select a ticket when sending a ticket link?
Only tickets that are still on sale and linked to a user group appear in the list.
Can I confirm an abstract without creating a session?
Yes. Click Skip Session & Confirm on the session step.
