Your Eventify license comes with a number of credits based on Monthly Active Attendees (MAA). This article explains what uses a credit, how to read your usage, and what happens as you get close to your limit. The full policy is on the Understanding MAA Credits and License Usage page.
One credit covers one user, in one event, for one 30-day period. A person in three of your events uses three credits in that period.
Every attendee you add counts toward your plan's allocation, so you can't add more people than your plan allows. A credit is consumed only when that person becomes active in the event. A user becomes active when they:
Once a user is active in an event, more activity in the same period doesn't use more credits. Someone who logs in ten times and gets five emails still uses one credit for that event.
The credit window is a rolling 30 days, not the calendar month. A user who is active in an event again in a later 30-day period uses another credit for that period.
Unused credits don't roll over. Credits are valid for your license term, and any left over when the term ends expire. For example, if your 2025 license had 10,000 credits and you used 9,200, the other 800 lapse and your 2026 license starts with a fresh 10,000.
Your credit total covers all your events, not each event separately.
Admins count against your credits in the same way as attendees. If you run 10 events with 2 admins in each, the admins use 20 credits. Add only the admins you need on each event.
The count is based on active users, not everyone you added.
In this example you see the 80% banner once usage passes 8,000 during Event C, and you get the 100% email during Event D. The next section explains each stage.

If your credit balance stays negative for more than a week, you lose access to the admin panel. Buy more credits or upgrade your license before that happens.
Your usage history shows your total, used and remaining credits for each period, and the users who were active in it.

Does adding an attendee use a credit?
Every attendee you add counts toward your plan's allocation, so you can't add more than your plan allows. The credit is consumed only when the attendee becomes active, for example by logging in or receiving an email.
If the same person is in two events, is that one credit or two?
Two. Each credit is one user per event per 30-day period, so the person uses a credit in each event where they are active.
Does sending an invitation email use credits?
Yes. Receiving an email or notification from the event makes a user active, so each recipient uses a credit for that event in that 30-day period.
When does my usage reset?
Credits are counted in a rolling 30-day window, not by calendar month. Your credit total runs for your license term, and unused credits expire when the term ends.
Do admins count toward my credits?
Yes. Each admin uses a credit in each event where they are active, in the same way as an attendee.
What if my balance goes negative?
You can't add new attendees until you buy more credits. If the balance stays negative for more than a week, your admin access is blocked.
