In Eventify you can give a session away free with certain tickets, or sell sessions as ticket add-ons that buyers pick up while they buy a ticket. Both are set up in the event registration platform from either the session or the ticket, and both screens save the same setting.
A session that needs a ticket can be linked to tickets in two ways:
A ticket can't do both for the same session. If you list a ticket as included free, it is removed from the add-on list for that session, and the other way round.
Only sessions with the session type With Ticket & Public can be sold as an add-on. Sessions set to With Ticket & Private can be included free with tickets, and only holders of those tickets can view and access them.

Click the Included Free With These Tickets field and pick one or more tickets from Select Tickets. Holders of these tickets get the session at no additional cost.
This field appears only for With Ticket & Public sessions.

The list leaves out tickets already under Included Free With These Tickets. A paid session can only be sold with a ticket in the same currency; a free session or a free ticket pairs with anything.

Additional Purchasable Sessions lists published With Ticket & Public sessions. If the ticket only gives access to specific event days, only sessions on those days appear. A session that is already ticked under Included Free With This Ticket is greyed out and marked "Already listed under “Included Free With This Ticket”".
By default a buyer can add at most one unit of a session per ticket they buy, so a buyer of 3 tickets can add up to 3. A lower limit can't be higher than the most tickets one order can hold. If a ticked session is priced in a different currency from the ticket, the card says so; untick it or change the ticket's currency before you continue.
When someone buys a ticket that offers add-on sessions, they can add those sessions during checkout at the price set for each session. Sessions included free come with the ticket without any extra step. For the buyer's side of this, see How Attendees Can Choose or Buy Sessions While Registering.
Buyers can leave purchased session units unassigned. You can hand them out from the order.

You see "Session assigned to the attendee." when it works. If the session is full, the attendee is added to its waitlist and you see "Session assigned. The session is full, so the attendee was added to its waitlist."
Only attendees holding the related ticket on that order can be picked. If you see "No eligible attendee yet. Assign the related ticket first.", assign the ticket first.
Can I sell a session without a ticket?
Yes. Turn on Allow single session purchase from separate portal in the session's Advanced Settings to sell it on its own through a separate link.
Can one ticket include a session free and also sell it?
No. A ticket can either include a session free or offer it as an add-on, not both. Choosing one removes that ticket from the other list.
Why is a session missing from Additional Purchasable Sessions?
The session must be published and set to With Ticket & Public, it must fall on a day the ticket gives access to, and a paid session must use the ticket's currency.
