Once your abstract form is built, the last step is to open it for abstract submission and share it with authors. In Eventify you set the submission and review dates, choose who can submit, then share the portal link or embed it on your own site. This article covers the publish settings, the portal signup form, the embed code and tracking code in the Eventify event management platform.

Under Set Abstract Duration and Limit, fill in all four dates. They are mandatory.
Each end date must be later than its start date. If not, you see "Application End Date should be greater than the Start Date." or "Review End Date should be greater than Start Date."

The Additional Settings box has four toggles.
Authors can edit a submitted form until it has been reviewed. See Can Abstracts be Resubmitted for how this works.
Authors can submit more than one abstract. Each submission is a separate entry and does not replace an earlier one.
The abstract is hidden from the public portal. Authors can only reach it through the direct link shown under Abstract Submission Link. Use this for an invitation-only call.
Authors must register before they can submit an abstract.
When the settings are right, click Publish. You see "Abstract Form Published successfully". If the abstract was already published, the button reads Save instead.
At the top of the Publish step, Abstract Submission Link shows the link to this abstract. The copy and open buttons next to it only work once the abstract is published.
On the Abstract List page, each card shows its Form Live Status: Not Published, Scheduled (published, before the start date), Live (between the application dates) or Expired (after the end date). The toggle on the card publishes or unpublishes the abstract. It stays greyed out until the application dates are set, with the hint "Set dates to publish".
Authors create an account on the abstract portal before they submit. You can change the fields on that account form.
#image# Settings window with the Submission Portal URL, Embed as iFrame code, Hide Header checkbox, View and Theme options
You can embed either the full submission portal (all your published abstracts) or a single abstract.
The display options are:
The Submission Portal URL in the same window updates with your options. Use Copy Link to share it or Open Portal to check it.
This is the same event tracking code you can add from your ticket settings, so a change here also changes it there. Eventify does not check custom code, so test it before you publish. For Google Analytics setup, see Add Google Analytics 4 or Google Tag Manager to Your Registration Page.
Why can't I publish my abstract form?
The publish toggle stays off until the application start and end dates are set. Open the abstract, go to Publish, fill in all four dates and click Publish.
How do I make a call for papers invitation-only?
Turn on Private Abstract. The abstract disappears from the public portal and only people with the direct Abstract Submission Link can open it.
Can one author submit more than one abstract?
Yes, if Allow Multiple-Submissions is on. Each abstract is saved as a separate submission.
Can I embed only one abstract instead of the whole portal?
Yes. Click Settings on that abstract's card in Abstract List and copy the Embed Code from there.
