Sometimes you need to reward participants with extra points outside the regular challenge flow — for special contributions, event participation, or as a contest prize. The Bonus Points feature lets you do exactly that 👇
From the admin panel sidebar, navigate to Engagement > Gamification and select Leaderboard.
On the User List or Challenges tab, click the "+ Add Extra Points" button in the top-right corner. This opens the bonus points modal.
From the "Select Challenge" dropdown, you can either:
In the "Add Bonus Points" field, enter the number of points to award. If you selected a challenge, this field is pre-filled but you can change it.
When you've selected a specific challenge, two options appear:
If you chose "No Challenge", only the "Add" mode is used automatically.
Click the "Select Users" button to open the user selection modal. Browse or search for participants and select the ones who should receive the bonus points. The counter shows how many users you've selected.
Click "Save & Close" to apply the bonus points. The leaderboard will refresh automatically to reflect the new point totals.
⚠️ Important
When using Override mode, the participant's existing points for that challenge are replaced — not added to. Make sure you intend to replace before choosing this option.
