Event media, including images, videos and documentations plays a crucial role in enhancing attendee experience. However, the decision to impose restrictions on media usage varies among organizers. In this discussion, we examine the dynamics of showcasing event media, considering both restricted and unrestricted approaches.
With Restrictions
For uploading session media, you can upload content that will be restricted to attendees solely attending that specific session.
To access this feature, navigate to the admin panel, then select "Content" followed by "Schedule" from the side menu.
Select the specific session you're interested in, and once the session page opens, navigate to the additional settings to upload files.
Note: These files will be visible exclusively to attendees registered for that specific session. When they log in to that session from their device, they will have access to the files.
Without Restrictions
With the Event Guide functionality, attendees can effortlessly access all essential event information, including venue directions, ticket purchasing instructions, check-in procedures, nearby attractions, hotel accommodations, and more. This comprehensive tool allows you to showcase important event media.
You have the flexibility to rename the Event Guide feature to any name of your choice, which will be displayed in the app and web interface for the event.
To add a new guide, simply click on the "Add New" button. This action will prompt the appearance of the "Add Event Guide" pop-up window.
Within this window, you can either select or enter a new category for the guide under "Category."
Provide a descriptive title for the guide in the "Title" field.
Next, select the type of guide: "Text / Docs / Page."
You have the option to upload a guide icon. The recommended icon size is 84x84 pixels.
Click on "Save" to add the Event Guide.
