Types Of User Registration Policy

Published on
July 11, 2024

User registration is a fundamental feature that allows individuals to create accounts or profiles for the event.

For delivering a seamless experience to your audience, Eventify offers five types of policies. Each type serves a specific purpose and will help you to manage attendee registrations effectively.

To select a registration policy, login to the Eventify Admin Panel at https://app.eventify.io/login and click on Registration >> Registration Settings. Click the Page Settings and you will get the 5 types of event policies here.

You can select any of the following policies to register the users for the event

  • External registration link :- You can add your external link for user registration, if you want to sell tickets on your website or from another site. For the "External Registration" type you need to give the external URL where users can register themselves.
  • Sold Out :- In case you need to stop selling tickets from the ticket page, you can select 'Sold Out.' It will display as sold out, and no one can purchase further tickets.
  • With registration :- You can create or use the default checkout form and make it available for users to fill out and submit for registration. If 'With Registration' is chosen, your event's user registration page URL will be created. You can promote your event and share this URL. Users will need to fill out the checkout form to register for the event.
  • Ticket :- The user will need to purchase the ticket to register for the event. Even with the 'Ticket' type, your event ticket page URL will be created. You can then complete the ticket creation steps to make the ticket live on the page.
  • No Registration :- The 'Register Now' button will be unavailable for users on the event page overview, and no user will be able to register for the event through the portal.
