Mobile app only: this feature is available in the Eventify mobile app. It isn't available in the web portal.
This article is for attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and speakers who want to use their event on a phone. It covers how to download the event app, find your event, log in and leave the event again.
Your event runs in the Eventify app or in your event's own app. Your invitation or your organiser tells you which one to install.
You log in with the same email address you use for the web portal. There is no separate account to create.
How you find your event depends on the app you installed.
The Eventify app
#image# App: start screen with "Enter event name" and the Search button
If nothing matches, you see "Sorry! No Event Found" with "Please try again searching with another keyword." Try a shorter part of the name.
An app for a group of events: the events show straight away as cards under UPCOMING EVENTS and PAST EVENTS. Tap yours.
An app for a single event: the app opens that event directly. It goes to the login screen, or into the event if login isn't required.
When you tap an event card, a preview opens with the cover image, event name, dates, country and description.
There is no registration or ticket purchase in the app. Register through the link your organiser sent you first.

If the code doesn't arrive, check your spam folder. Resend OTP under the button counts down from 00:30. When it reaches zero, tap it to get a new code. Use the newest code you receive.
To fix a typo in your email, tap the back arrow at the top of the screen.
If your event has support switched on, the bottom of the screen shows "Problem logging in?" with a contact support link. See How Attendees Can Contact Event Support.
If your organiser has turned on phone login, the first field is called Email or Phone Number. Type your email, or your phone number starting with the country code, then carry on as above with the passcode you receive.
If your organiser has turned on single sign-on (SSO), the screen says "Your event has SSO enabled. If you are a guest user, please login with Email/Passcode."
If SSO fails, you see "We are unable to log you in at the moment, please contact event organiser." Tap Try Again, or contact your organiser.
If the login link in your welcome email opens the app, the Login screen shows your email already filled in with "We have detected a login request for this event. Please confirm the details below." Tap Login.
Depending on your event, Edit Profile may open so you can check your details. If your organiser requires a complete profile, fill in the required fields before you carry on. See How Attendees Can Complete and Edit Their Event Profile.
Otherwise you land on the home screen. The app keeps you logged in, so next time you open it you go straight to your event.
Your organiser can limit each login to one phone. If you log in on a second phone, you see Warning with "Do you want to logout from other device and continue login?"
If you tapped View More, you're in the event without logging in. You can look around the event. The side menu shows "Hey There!" and TAP TO LOGIN.
Personal features, such as meetings, messages, notes and your agenda, open the Login screen when you tap them. Tap TAP TO LOGIN at any time to log in.
If you're registered for more than one event, the side menu shows Switch.
The app leaves the current event and logs you in to the other one with the same email.
Logging out takes you out of the event and back to event search (or to your event app's start screen). Your theme goes back to Auto and the language goes back to your phone's language. Guests see EXIT instead of Logout, which asks "Are you sure you want to leave this event?"
If a newer version is out, you see "Stay Up-to-Date with the Latest Features!" with "To ensure you have the best experience at our event, we recommend updating your event app to the latest version." Tap Update to open the App Store or Google Play and install it.
#image# App: home screen with the red No Internet Connection bar at the bottom
A red "No Internet Connection" bar at the bottom of the screen means your phone is offline. You can still read what the app has already loaded, but changes you make don't go through. When you're back online, the app updates by itself.
Do I need a separate account for the event app?
No. You log in with the same email address you use for the web portal. There is no separate account to create.
Which app should I download for my event?
Your invitation or your organiser tells you which app to install. Search for that name in the App Store or Google Play.
Can I register for an event in the app?
No. There is no registration or ticket purchase in the app. Register through the link your organiser sent you first.
Don't see this? Your organiser decides which features are switched on for your event and who can use them. See Why Attendees Can't See a Feature in the Event Portal.
