Your profile is what other participants see when they find you at the event. You can add a photo, a cover banner and the details your organiser asks for, and change them at any time.
The Edit My Profile page opens. The first section is Personal Profile.

If you're also an exhibitor, sponsor or speaker, the same menu has a separate entry for each of those profiles. The steps below are for your personal profile.
Images must be between 10 KB and 20 MB. If the file is outside that range you see "File size must be between 10 KB and 20480 KB".
The same pencil menu also has:

Your organiser may make the photo required. In that case it has a red asterisk and a red "!" that says "Complete your profile!". Add a photo before you submit.
Click the camera button on the banner at the top of the page and choose an image.
E-mail is shown but can't be changed. First Name and Last Name are required.
The rest of the form is set by your organiser, so the fields differ between events. Fields marked with an asterisk are required.
How you save depends on how your organiser has laid out the form:

When the save works you see "Updated successfully".
Your organiser can ask everyone to complete their profile.
Can I change the email on my profile?
No. Your email is how the portal recognises you. If it needs to change, contact your organiser.
Who can see my profile?
That depends on your networking setting. See How Attendees Can Control Networking and GDPR Consent.
Don't see this? Your organiser decides which features are switched on for your event and who can use them. See Why Attendees Can't See a Feature in the Event Portal.
