If the portal won't let you in, the message on screen tells you why. Find it in the list below to see what it means and what to do.
Messages on the login screen

- "This field is required!": The email or passcode box is empty. Fill it in and try again.
- "Email is invalid!": The address isn't in a valid email format. Check for typos or missing characters.
- "Please accept the Terms & Conditions": The terms checkbox isn't ticked. Tick the box, then click Continue.
- "You are not registered for this event. Please contact event organizers": That email address isn't on the event's registration list. Try the address you registered with. If it still fails, contact your organiser.
- "You are not confirmed for this event. Please contact event organiser.": You're registered but on the waitlist. Wait for your organiser to confirm your place, or contact them.
- "User disabled" or "Your login has been disabled. Please contact event organiser.": Your organiser has switched off your login. Contact your organiser.
- "The Event has not begun. Please check back later for more details.": Login isn't open yet for this event. Try again closer to the event, or check your invitation for the date.
- "Your passcode has expired. We have sent you a new one.": The passcode was wrong or too old. Check your inbox for the newest passcode and enter that one.
- "Something went wrong.": The login didn't complete. Wait a moment and try again.
Messages about the event itself
- "The event is now over. Thank you for attending!" with "The event has concluded. For more information, please contact the event organizers.": Your organiser has closed login because the event has ended. If you were logged in, clicking Ok, I understand logs you out. Contact your organiser if you still need something from the event.
- "Event is not published.": The event isn't live on the portal. After 5 seconds you're taken back to the start page. Check the link with your organiser.
- "Url is invalid.": The page address doesn't exist, or the page is switched off for you. After 5 seconds you're taken back. Use the menu instead of an old link. See Why Attendees Can't See a Feature in the Event Portal.
"This event is available on the mobile app"

If every link opens a page saying "This event is available on the mobile app" and "Web access has been turned off for this event. Please download the app to continue.", your organiser has chosen to run the event in the app only.
- Click Download the App, if it's shown. It opens the App Store on Apple devices and Google Play on others.
- Install the Eventify app and log in with the same email address.
If there's no Download the App button, ask your organiser which app to use.
"Your login session has been expired"

After a while the portal may ask you to log in again. You see "Your login session has been expired. Please re-login."
- Click Ok, I understand. You're logged out.
- Log in again with your email and a new passcode.
If your welcome email link doesn't work
- If the link opens the passcode step with "Your passcode has expired. We have sent you a new one.", enter the new code from your inbox.
- If it opens the email step, type the address you registered with and click Continue.
- If it shows "Url is invalid.", the link is incomplete. Log in from the event's login page instead.
Still stuck
Click contact support next to "Problem logging in?" on the login screen, if your event has support switched on. You don't need to be logged in to use it. See How Attendees Can Contact Event Support.
