When you buy tickets for a team or group, each ticket needs a name and an email address. This is called assigning an attendee. Depending on the ticket, you do it before you pay or afterwards from your order page.
Your organiser decides this for each ticket.
#image# The Assign Attendees step with one card per ticket, numbered #1 and #2, and a green tick on the finished card
There's one card for each ticket, numbered "#1", "#2" and so on. A bundle ticket gets one card for each person it includes. A green tick shows when a card is complete.
If you try to continue with a card unfinished, a message asks you to fill in all the attendee details.
If you see "This ticket assigned attendee requires approval from the host.", the organiser has to approve that person before they're confirmed. See How Attendees Can Track a Registration or Ticket That Needs Approval.
Add-on tickets are extras for people who are already registered for the event. The card only asks for E-mail (or phone). If the person isn't registered yet, you see "This email is not registered in the event."
For upgrade tickets, you may see "Copy attendee details from another ticket". Use Copy attendee and click Apply to reuse details you've already entered, instead of typing them again.
When you buy a single ticket or only add-ons and attendees are named after payment, the Payment Details step has a This ticket is for myself checkbox. Tick it if the ticket is for you.
Your order page lists every ticket with the attendee's email or phone. Click View Ticket to see a ticket's QR code and passcode, or Assign for any ticket you haven't named yet.

To give a ticket to someone else later, see How Attendees Can Assign or Re-Assign a Ticket to Someone Else.
Can I buy tickets for a group?
Yes. Choose more than one ticket, then fill in one attendee card per ticket, before or after you pay depending on the ticket.
How do I transfer a ticket to someone else?
Open your order page and click Re-Assign on the ticket, if your organiser allows it. See How Attendees Can Assign or Re-Assign a Ticket to Someone Else.
Can two tickets use the same email address?
No. Each attendee card needs a different email address, within a ticket and across the whole order.
Don't see this? Your organiser decides which features are switched on for your event and who can use them. See Why Attendees Can't See a Feature in the Event Portal.
