QR scanning lets attendees exchange contact details instantly at in-person events — no searching required.

If the organiser has enabled Both-Way Scan, the connection is recorded in both your account and the scanned attendee's account simultaneously — they do not need to scan you back.

VCard dropping lets you share your contact details with an exhibitor or sponsor booth — the digital equivalent of handing over a business card.
Before you start: The organiser must have Drop VCard enabled. If the option is not visible, it has been disabled.

Q: My QR scan didn't register the connection. What happened?
Two common causes: (1) a third-party camera app was used instead of the in-app scanner, or (2) there was no internet connection at the time. Use the in-app scanner and retry with an active connection.
Q: Does the attendee I scan need to scan me back?
Only if Both-Way Scan is disabled. If Both-Way Scan is enabled by the organiser, a single scan registers the connection in both accounts.
Q: The Drop VCard button is not visible on an exhibitor profile. Why?
The organiser has not enabled Drop VCard in Event Settings. Contact your event organiser if you need this feature.
Q: Where do I find my own QR code to show other attendees?
In the event app, tap the Scan icon in the bottom navigation bar and select the MY QR tab.
