This is what attendees and your staff do at the desktop kiosk: find the attendee, check their details and print their badge. Printing can check them in at the same time, or you can run a check-in only kiosk.
The scan screen shows the prompt "Please scan your QR to Check-in and print your badge." There are three ways to find someone:

Email addresses in the search results are partly hidden, for example "joh****@example.com", so other attendees can't read them.
If the code isn't recognised, the kiosk shows "The QR code is invalid". See How to Fix Common Desktop Kiosk Problems.
The kiosk shows a preview card with the attendee's photo or initials, their user group, Name and E-mail. If the badge template prints the job title or company, those show too.

The kiosk picks the badge design that matches the attendee's main user group, or your default template. It prints the badge at the size set on the template, to the printer chosen in the kiosk settings.
If the badge doesn't print, click the Back arrow at the bottom of the screen, check the printer, and scan again. See How to Fix Common Desktop Kiosk Problems.
If you need to fix a name or job title before printing, see How to Manage Reprints, Passcodes, Photos and Edits on the Desktop Kiosk.
If Auto Checkin is on in Kiosk Setup, the attendee is checked in as soon as their badge prints. If the kiosk is offline at that moment, the check-in waits on the laptop until you sync it.
If Auto Print is on, the kiosk skips the preview and prints straight after the scan.
Turn on Allow Checkin Only in Kiosk Setup to check attendees in without printing a badge. The prompt reads "Please scan your QR to Check-in."
When an attendee scans their code or picks their name, they're checked in straight away. The kiosk shows "User has been successfully checked in" and is ready for the next person.
You can see arrivals in the admin panel. See How to Use the Check-In Dashboard on Eventify.
If you turned on Allow Registration(requires internet) in Kiosk Setup, the kiosk opens on a start screen with Scan QR and Registration buttons.
Registration needs an internet connection. The new attendee appears on the kiosk after its next automatic update, or when you sync with New Attendees Only.
Can one attendee print their badge more than once?
That depends on Allow Multiple Print in Kiosk Setup. See How to Manage Reprints, Passcodes, Photos and Edits on the Desktop Kiosk.
How do I undo a check-in made at the kiosk?
Undo it from the attendee's record in the admin panel. See How to Undo a Check-In on Eventify.
