Mobile app only: this feature is available in the Eventify mobile app. It isn't available in the web portal.
A quest is an event app gamification challenge made up of several tasks, such as scanning a code at a booth, uploading a photo or entering a secret code. You complete quests in the Eventify app, and each task can earn you points, a certificate or an award.

Quests sit with the other challenges in the gamification section. Your event may call this section something else, such as Leaderboard or Games.

The "Begin your quest" screen opens. It shows the quest's name and description, and the list of tasks below.
Tap View Rules to read how the quest works and your organiser's Contest Rules.
Tap a task to start it. What happens next depends on the type of task.

The app sends the code as soon as it reads it.
While it uploads, you see "Your image is being uploaded. Thank you for your patience...".
If you tap Submit with the box empty, you see "Enter the secret code".
When a task is accepted, you see a points message, or a "Congratulations" card saying "TASK COMPLETED".
If it isn't accepted, you see "Task Could Not Be Completed" and "Don't worry! Double-check your input and give it another shot." Check you scanned the right code or typed the secret code correctly, then try the task again.

Until a task has been accepted, you can tap it again and send a new answer.
Some quests make you complete the tasks in order. A task you can't start yet shows a lock with "Challenge Locked" and "Unlock this by completing the previous task." Finish the task above it and the next one opens.
In a team quest, everyone in your team or attendee group works towards the same total. Tap the people icon in the header to see your team members and the points each of them has earned.
When your organiser announces the results, a "Winner Announced" panel appears on the quest with a message from your organiser and the ranked winners. Winners can be people, teams or groups.
How do I know a quest is over?
A red strip at the top says "Quest has ended on" followed by the date.
Where do my quest points go?
They're added to your gamification points, like the points from any other challenge. See How Attendees Can Play Gamification Challenges and Win Rewards.
The scanner won't open. What do I do?
The app needs permission to use your camera. See How Attendees Can Manage Push Notifications and App Permissions in the Mobile App.
Can I try a quest task again?
Yes. Until a task has been accepted, you can tap it again and send a new answer.
Why is a quest task locked?
The quest makes you complete the tasks in order. Finish the task above it and the next one opens.
What does "Awaiting approval" mean on a task?
Your organiser checks this task by hand before it counts.
