If your organiser lets participants set their own meeting preferences, you can decide whether people can book meetings with you, how long those meetings are, and which hours you're free each day. Other people only see time slots that fit these settings.
Open Meeting Settings
- Open Meeting from the Event Tools group in the sidebar.
- Click the settings cog at the top of the page. The Meeting Settings window opens.
The cog only appears when your organiser allows personal meeting preferences. If you don't see it, your organiser manages meeting times for everyone.

Choose whether people can book you

- Meeting Availability ("Anyone can schedule a meeting with you."): the switch shows if you're currently open to meeting requests. Turn it on to let others book you. Turn it off to stop new requests.
- Meeting Confirmation ("Meetings will be confirmed automatically."): turn it on if you want requests to be confirmed without you having to accept each one. Leave it off to accept or reject each request yourself.
Set meeting length and breaks
- Meeting Duration ("Time-slot duration of your meetings."): pick how long each meeting slot lasts. The choices start at 5 minutes and go up to the longest meeting your organiser allows.
- Meeting Breaktime ("Breaktime duration between your meetings."): pick a gap of up to 60 minutes between meetings, or none.
Set the hours you're available

- Under Schedule Time, click Add More to add a row.
- Choose the DAY.
- Set the From and To times for that day.
- Add more rows for other days, or for a second block of time on the same day.
- Click SAVE.
If you don't add any rows, you're available from 9AM to 7PM on every meeting day.
When your settings are saved, you see "Meeting Settings updated successfully". Click Cancel to close the window without saving.
Messages you may see
- "Start and end times cannot be the same": Change the From or To time.
- "End time cannot be earlier than start time": Make the To time later than the From time.
- "Meeting Conflict" / "Time slot overlaps with existing schedule": Two of your rows overlap. Change one of them so the times don't cross.
- "Please enter all mandatory fields": Fill in the day and both times on every row, or remove the empty row.
- "Error while updating settings": Your changes weren't saved. Try again.
