How Attendees Find Their Way Around the Event Portal Home Page

The home page is where the portal opens after you log in. It gathers what's happening at the event and gives you a shortcut to every feature you can use.
Get to the home page
Click Overview in the side menu. Your event may call it something else, such as Home.

The page shows the event name, then any alerts for you, then a set of cards in the order your organiser chose.
Use Quick Links
The Quick Links card has a tile for each feature you have access to, including Meetings, Messages and Bookmarks where those are switched on.
- Click a tile to open that feature.
- Messages and Notifications tiles show a badge with your unread count.
Your organiser sets the order and the look of the tiles, so they may show as icons, labels or pictures, in one to six columns.

Cards you may see
Which cards appear depends on your event and your role. Common ones are:
- Countdown: "Get ready for something amazing!" with the time left until "Event is going live on".
- Complete your profile: a reminder to add a profile picture, with Add a Picture. See How Attendees Can Complete and Edit Their Event Profile.
- Interests: "Add interests to your profile and start connecting!" Pick the topics you're interested in. Your choices are saved when you leave the page.
- About: information about the event.
- Promote Yourself: create a personal banner to share, with Get Banners and Templates. See How Attendees Can Create and Share an "I'm Attending" Event Banner.
- Tickets & Orders: your tickets, with Buy Tickets if more are on sale.
- Suggested Contacts: people you may want to meet, with a Say Hi button and View All.
- New message: "You've got a new message!" with a Reply button.
- Gamification: "Gamification is On! Get Exciting Rewards" with Get Started.
- Feature cards: highlights from features such as speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, sessions, news and maps.
- Checklist, ads and stories cards, if your organiser has added them.
Exhibitors, sponsors and speakers may also see cards for their booth and team members, and exhibitors and sponsors an event summary.
Announcements
Your organiser's announcements scroll along the bottom of the home page. Keep an eye on it during the event for changes and reminders.
