If you plan a full programme of reminders, you don't have to create each push notification by hand. In Eventify you can schedule push notifications for your event app in bulk by filling in a spreadsheet template and importing it. Every row becomes one scheduled notification.

The Import Bulk Schedule Notification window opens. It has an upload area on the left, the template downloads on the right and a list of notes underneath.
Under Download Template, click Sample CSV or Sample XLS. Both contain the same columns and a few example rows. Delete the example rows before you add your own.
Don't rename, reorder or delete any column, even one you leave empty. The file must keep these eight headers exactly:
Columns marked with an asterisk are required in every row.

Choosing who receives each notification
If a row has email addresses in Users, the notification goes to those people, even if Attendees Group names a group.
Setting the send time
Write the date and time as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS, with colons in the time, for example 2026-10-14 09:30:00. Times are read in your event's time zone. Each notification must be at least 5 minutes in the future when you upload the file, so leave some margin if you prepare the file in advance.
When it works, you see "Bulk Schedule Notification Added" and the window closes.
#image# Import preview table listing rows with errors and the Retry and Close buttons
If any row has a problem, the preview lists only the rows with errors, with their row numbers. Hover over the exclamation (!) icon on a row to see what's wrong. Nothing is imported while any row has an error, so correct the file, click Retry and upload it again.
Common row errors:
If the whole file is rejected with "The CSV / XLSX file format is non-compatible or the data is not well formatted. Please refer to the template", a column header has been changed. If you see "The CSV / XLSX file is empty, Please add some data", the file has headers but no rows.
After the import, open the Scheduled tab on the Push Notification page. The count in the tab name includes your new notifications, and each one waits there until its scheduled time. You can edit or delete a scheduled notification in the same way as one you created by hand.
To keep a record, click Export. You get a spreadsheet of your event's push notifications, including scheduled, sent and cancelled ones, with scheduled times in the event's time zone.
Can I schedule push notifications from Excel?
Yes. Download Sample XLS, fill it in, and upload it through Outreach > Push notifications > Import. CSV files work too.
Can I import Push + Email notifications?
No. The import only accepts push in the Type column.
Why does my import say the date must be at least 5 minutes in the future?
Every scheduled time must be at least 5 minutes after the moment you upload. Times are read in the event's time zone, so check that zone before you fill in the file.
Can I send an imported notification to a list of attendees?
Yes. Write specific in Attendees Group and put their email addresses, separated by commas, in Users.
