QR Scan settings control how QR codes are displayed, scanned, and used for check-in — plus how attendee badges are issued, emailed, and accessed in the app.
How to access: Dashboard → Settings → Event Settings → QR Scan

When on, if Attendee A scans Attendee B's QR code, both A and B gain each other as a connection. When off, only the scanner (A) gains the connection.
Enter a value from 0 to 5 to increase the display size of attendee QR codes. Useful for check-in counters where the screen is viewed from a distance. Leave blank to use the device's default zoom level.
An inline save button (blue tick) appears when you change the value — click it to save.

When on, QR codes contain only the raw attendee code. Scanning the QR code will not redirect users to download the app. Use this when you want QR codes to work with your own scanning infrastructure without triggering Eventify app prompts.

Both badge email triggers are independent toggles and can be enabled simultaneously.
Q: What's the difference between Bothway Scan on and off?
With Bothway Scan on, both attendees get each other as a connection after a scan. With it off, only the person who did the scanning gains the connection. For lead capture at exhibitor booths, Bothway Scan off gives exhibitors sole ownership of the scan record.
Q: Does QR Zoom Level affect the attendee's app or the admin scanner?
It affects how the attendee's personal QR code is displayed in their app profile — enlarging it for easier scanning by staff at check-in counters.
Q: Can I send badges via email without enabling Print At Home?
Yes. Badge email delivery and Print At Home are independent settings. You can send badges by email without enabling attendee self-printing.
