At the top of the page, summary cards show aggregate networking activity for your event:
| Metric | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Connection Requests Sent | Total outbound connection requests |
| Requests Accepted | Accepted requests — confirmed connections |
| Total Conversations | All active chat threads (including meeting-type chats) |
| Messages Sent | Text messages only — meeting-related chat activity is excluded |
| QR Scans | Total in-app QR scans |
| Profile Views | Total attendee profile views |
| Favourites / Bookmarks | How often attendees were bookmarked |

Below the overview cards, a bar chart shows networking engagement activity over time, filtered by the date range you select. Use the date picker at the top of the page to change the date range — this date picker is separate from the main analytics date filter.

The main networking chart plots Requests Sent vs Requests Accepted as two lines over your selected date range. This shows how many requests were sent each day and how many were accepted — useful for identifying peak networking days.

Shows the attendees who received the most networking activity — profile views, connection requests, bookmarks. Use this to identify your most sought-after participants or speakers.

Shows the attendees who initiated the most connections — sent the most requests, made the most searches, bookmarked the most people.

Shows which search terms attendees used in the attendee directory search bar. Use this to understand what your attendees are looking for and improve profile completeness.

Click Export (top right of the Analytics page) to download the networking data as an Excel file for offline reporting.
Q: Networking Analytics shows zero activity. Why?
Two most common causes: (1) Chat Invites is disabled in Event Settings — no connections can be made; (2) attendees do not have Confirmed status and cannot network. Check both in Dashboard → Event Settings → Networking.
Q: What is the "Engagement Rate" and how is it calculated?
The engagement rate is calculated from the total number of networking actions (conversations + meeting requests + accepted meetings + connection requests) divided by the number of attendees, then normalised to a percentage against a baseline of 10 actions per user. A score of 100% means the average attendee performed 10 or more networking actions.
Q: Why does the Most Searched Keywords table show terms unrelated to networking?
The search count tracks all searches made in the attendee directory. Attendees may search for specific names, companies, or job titles — all are captured here.
Q: Can I filter the networking analytics by attendee group?
Not in the current version. The networking analytics show data across all attendee groups. Use the date range filter to narrow results by time period.
