Eventify Networking lets attendees discover, connect, and message each other during your event. It includes an attendee directory, interest-based matchmaking, connection requests, direct messaging, QR code scanning, VCard drops at exhibitor booths, and meeting requests — all inside the event app.
How to access: Dashboard → Engagement → Networking

Use this checklist before your event goes live:

| Concept | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Chat Invites | Whether attendees can send connection requests at all |
| Matchmaking Mode | Whether the app suggests connections to attendees, and how |
| Matchmaking Grid | Which group pairs receive suggestions (Advanced Rules mode only) |
| Users Visibility Rules toggle | Whether group-level directory visibility restrictions are active |
| Visibility Grid | Which groups can see each other in the attendee directory |
| Both-Way Scan | Whether scanning someone's QR registers in both accounts |
Q: Do I need to configure the matchmaking grid before the event?
Only if you select Advanced Rules as your matchmaking mode. Disabled and Common Interest-based modes do not use the grid.
Q: Can I restrict who sees who in the directory without affecting matchmaking suggestions?
Yes. The Visibility Grid is controlled by a separate "Users Visibility Rules" toggle and is independent of your matchmaking mode. You can enable visibility restrictions even when matchmaking is set to Disabled.
Q: Why can't some attendees use networking features?
Attendees must have Confirmed account status. Pending accounts cannot send requests, appear in the directory, or generate analytics data.
