Speaker categories (e.g. Keynote, Panelist, Workshop Leader) let you classify speakers by type. Each speaker can belong to one category. Categories display as colour-coded badges on speaker profiles.
Go to the Manage Categories modal (Manage button next to Type field). Click the edit icon next to a category to update its name, title, or priority. Click the delete icon to remove it.
Warning: Deleting a speaker category also deletes every speaker in that category. Eventify asks you to confirm with the message "This will delete related speaker too, are you sure to proceed?" If you click OK, the category and its speakers are removed and you will see "Category deleted with related speakers successfully!"
Tip: To keep the speakers, move them to another category first. Select them in the Speakers list and pick a new category from the toolbar dropdown, then delete the empty category.
