Use Eventify's Campaign module to send targeted emails to your contacts or event attendees. A campaign is built in three steps: configure the email, select your audience, and set a delivery schedule.
Note: The Campaign module is only available if it is included in your Eventify plan. If Campaign does not appear in your sidebar, contact your account manager.
Important: This selection is permanent. You cannot switch audience type after the campaign is created.
Fill in the fields on the Campaign Info & Templates tab:
| Field | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Campaign Name | Yes | Descriptive name for internal reference |
| Send Email (checkbox) | — | Must be checked to enable email delivery |
| Email Subject | Yes (if email enabled) | Shown to recipients in their inbox |
| From Name | Yes (if email enabled) | Sender name displayed to recipients |
Under the template section, select one of two methods:
Click Edit Template or work directly in the editor to design your email. See How to Design Email Content for a Campaign for the full editor guide.
Click the Target Audience tab. The options shown depend on the audience type you selected in Step 2.
For contacts campaigns: Select one or more Contact Lists from the dropdown. Use Add Contacts to pick specific individuals.
Skip sending to already registered users: A checkbox (enabled by default) that excludes contacts who are already registered in the event. Uncheck this if you want to include registered attendees.
The Estimated Recipient Count updates automatically. Click View List to see the full list of matched users before sending.
Click the Schedule & Send tab and choose a trigger:
| Trigger | What it does |
|---|---|
| Send Immediately (Approx 2–30 mins) | Sends the campaign within minutes of activation |
| Before Event Start | Sends N days before the event start date; requires day count and time |
| After Event End | Sends N days after the event end date; requires day count and time |
| On a Scheduled Date | Sends on a specific date and time you choose |
For Before Event Start and After Event End: enter the number of days (minimum 1) and select a time. The panel shows the event's actual start/end date and the calculated Tentative Send Date.
No. The audience type is locked after creation. You must create a new campaign to change it.
When enabled (the default), Eventify removes contacts who are already registered in your event from the recipient list, preventing duplicate outreach.
Setting to Activate starts the campaign according to its trigger. Setting to Inactive saves the campaign without sending — you can activate it later from the campaign list.
No. Once a campaign has been sent, all fields are locked and cannot be edited.
