Private sessions are hidden from the general attendee population. Only attendees you manually assign can see the session in their app and attend it. Use this for invitation-only workshops, VIP experiences, speaker rooms, or any session that should not be visible to all attendees.
How to access: Dashboard → Content → Schedule → create or edit a session → Basic tab
Assigned attendees can see and access the session in the app. Unassigned attendees do not see it at all — it doesn't appear as locked, it simply doesn't exist for them.
Q: Can an attendee request access to a private session?
A: No. Private sessions are invisible to unassigned attendees. Access must be granted by an organizer.
Q: What is the difference between General & Private and With Ticket & Private?
A: Both hide the session from unassigned attendees. With Ticket & Private additionally requires the attendee to hold a specific ticket type.
Q: What if I change the session from private to public later?
A: The session becomes visible to all attendees. Previously assigned attendees retain their access.
