This article covers four settings categories that handle outgoing communications, AI behaviour, data management, and the content reset option.
How to access: Dashboard → Settings → Event Settings → Email Templates / AI / Export / Reset Content
By default, all Eventify event emails are sent from Eventify's own mail servers. To send emails from your own domain, configure a custom SMTP server.

Sets the date and time format used across all outgoing event emails (confirmations, invites, reminders). Click the edit icon next to Email Date & Time Formats to open the format picker. Choose your preferred format (e.g., DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY).
Click the Email Templates link in the sidebar (separate from Event Settings) to manage individual email templates — including triggers, content, subject lines, and which user groups each template targets.
The AI Instruction setting lets you customise how EventoAI — Eventify's in-app AI assistant — responds to attendee questions.
Before you start: The AI Settings section only appears if the AI module is enabled for your event. If you don't see this section, contact your account manager.

The Export section lets you download a selective copy of your event data for reporting or record-keeping.

⚠️ This action is irreversible. Resetting content clears all configured event content and cannot be undone. Always export your data before proceeding.

Q: Will configuring SMTP affect emails that were already queued?
No. SMTP configuration takes effect for emails sent after you save. Emails already in the queue continue through the existing server.
Q: Is the AI assistant available in the web portal or only the mobile app?
EventoAI is primarily an in-app feature for the attendee mobile app. Availability in the web portal depends on your Eventify plan and configuration.
Q: Can I recover data after a Reset Content?
No. The Reset Content action is permanent and irreversible. Use Export Data before resetting to retain a backup of all your configured content.
Q: If I change the Email Date & Time Format mid-event, does it affect emails already sent?
No. The format change only applies to emails sent after the change is saved. Already-delivered emails are not affected.
