Eventify gives you two ways to track community engagement: inline post and comment counts visible directly in the Community list, and a detailed export through the Analytics section.
You do not need to open a community to get a quick engagement overview. The Community list (Dashboard → Content → Community) displays post counts and comment counts for each community in the table columns.
Use these numbers to quickly identify which communities are most active and which may need attention or promotion.

For a full data export, go to the Analytics section:
Path: Dashboard → Analytics → Social Feed → CSV Export

Despite the button label saying “CSV Export,” the file that downloads is an XLSX file (Excel format), not a CSV. The export contains four separate sheets:
| Sheet | Contents |
|---|---|
| Posts | All top-level community posts with author, timestamp, and content |
| Replies | Direct replies to posts |
| Nested Replies | Replies to replies (threaded conversations) |
| Metadata | Additional data including community names, IDs, and post metadata |

Step 1: Go to Dashboard → Analytics → Social Feed.
Step 2: Click the CSV Export button (top right of the section).
Step 3: The XLSX file downloads automatically to your browser’s default download location.
Step 4: Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets to review the four sheets.
Q: The export button says "CSV Export" but the file is XLSX — is that correct?
A: Yes. This is a known label in the product. The downloaded file is an XLSX (Excel) file with four sheets, not a CSV. Open it in Excel or import it into Google Sheets.
Q: Does the export include data from all communities or just Social Feed?
A: The export is accessed from the Social Feed analytics section and covers community post data. For community-specific breakdowns, use the Metadata sheet to filter by community name or ID.
Q: Can I filter the export by date range?
A: Date filtering for this export depends on your Eventify configuration. Check the Analytics section for any available date range selectors before exporting.
Q: How often is the analytics data updated?
A: Community analytics data is updated in near real-time as attendees post and comment. The export reflects the latest data at the time of download.
Q: Is there a way to see analytics for one specific community rather than all communities?
A: The inline post and comment counts in the Community list give per-community totals. The XLSX export contains all communities combined — use the Metadata sheet to filter by community after downloading.
