Eventify gives attendees two branded personalisation options: Profile Frames (decorative overlays on their profile photo) and Profile Share Backgrounds (branded backdrops used when sharing a profile via QR code or social media). Both are configured by the event organizer.
Profile frames are PNG overlay images that attendees can apply to their profile photo in the Eventify app. They appear as a border or decorative element around the photo. Attendees select from the frames you create — they cannot upload their own.
How to access: Dashboard → Setup → Branding → Frames

Groups control which attendees can see and use the frame. Groups come from your event’s attendee categories (configured under People settings). Select “All” to make the frame available to every attendee, or select specific categories to restrict access. You can assign a frame to multiple groups at once.
Click Save.

Click the edit icon next to any frame to update its name, group, or image. Click the delete icon to remove it. If all frames are deleted, the frame feature is disabled for attendees in the app.
Use the search field in the frame list header to find frames by display name.
When attendees share their profile via QR code or social media, a branded background image appears behind their profile card. You upload multiple variants per user type so attendees can choose their preferred background.
How to access: Dashboard → Setup → Branding → Frames → Profile Share tab

| User Type | Max Backgrounds |
|---|---|
| Attendee | 4 images |
| Speaker | 8 images |
| Exhibitor | 8 images |
Upload at 512 × 512 px. Uploading at 230 × 230 px will fail the size validation.

Eventify provides a downloadable zip file of official sample backgrounds to use as design templates. Click the download icon button in the top-right of the Profile Share page to download preview-sample.zip — this contains the template files your designer can use to create correctly sized backgrounds.

Click Save after uploading backgrounds for each tab (Attendee, Speaker, Exhibitor). Each tab saves independently.
Applying a profile frame: Attendee goes to Profile in the app → taps the option to decorate their profile photo → selects from the available frames → the frame is applied as an overlay.
Choosing a share background: Attendee goes to Profile → Share → selects a background variant → shares via QR code or social media with the branded background applied.
Q: Can attendees upload their own profile frames?
A: No. Only event organizers can create and manage frames. Attendees choose from what you upload.
Q: What happens if I delete all frames?
A: If no frames exist, the frame feature is automatically disabled for attendees — they won’t see the option in the app.
Q: What format is required for profile frame images?
A: PNG only. PNG supports transparency, which is essential for frames to appear correctly over profile photos without a solid background blocking the photo.
Q: Why does my profile share background look blurry or pixelated?
A: The most common cause is uploading at too low a resolution. The required size is 512 × 512 px. Uploading at 230 × 230 px or lower will result in a blurry image after the cropper processes it.
Q: Can speakers and exhibitors also use profile frames?
A: Profile frames are for attendees only. Profile Share backgrounds have separate upload slots for Attendees, Speakers, and Exhibitors.
Q: Where do I find the design templates for share backgrounds?
A: Click the download button on the Profile Share page — it downloads an official zip file of sample template files sized correctly for all three user types.
