An interactive floor map is a venue layout that attendees explore in the Eventify app. You draw booths on a canvas, link them to exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, and sessions, and control whether booths are reserved, for sale, or open for applications. Maps are hidden by default until you explicitly enable them.
Interactive floor maps are managed in two places in the admin panel:
| Section | What you do there |
|---|---|
| Content → Maps | View all maps (both interactive and location), reorder them, edit or delete them |
| Registration → Floor Maps | Detailed booth management — create maps, design layouts, manage booth applications, configure payment, run sales reports |
Three things must be true before attendees can see a floor map:
Maps are created with Draft status and Display in IMap off. Both must be changed before publishing.
Why can't attendees see my floor map?
Two conditions must both be met: the map's Status must be Live, and the Display in IMap toggle in the map's Settings panel must be ON. Either being off will hide the map.
How many floor maps can I create?
There is no fixed limit. Create one map per hall, floor, or venue area as needed.
Can I have both a floor map and a venue location map at the same time?
Yes. Both types coexist in the same Content → Maps list and can be reordered relative to each other.
Can I embed the floor map on my event website?
Yes. The map's Settings panel provides an iframe embed code. A Hide Header/Footer option strips the Eventify navigation from the embedded view.
