After creating campaigns, you may need to edit a draft, clone a successful campaign, pause an active one, or archive old campaigns. This guide covers all the actions you can take to manage your campaigns throughout their lifecycle.
Every campaign is in one of these states, visible in the tab bar at the top of the campaign list:
Navigate to the Campaign section and locate the campaign. You can only edit campaigns that are in Inactive/Draft state. Active or completed campaigns cannot be edited.
Click the Edit option from the campaign's action menu. This opens the campaign editor where you can modify the campaign name, subject, email content, recipients, and schedule.
Update any fields as needed and click Save to apply your changes. If you are ready to send, remember to set the status to Active before saving.
Cloning creates a copy of an existing campaign with all its settings, making it easy to create similar campaigns without starting over.
You can clone any campaign regardless of its state. Click the Clone option from the campaign's action menu.
A new campaign is created as an Inactive/Draft copy with all the original campaign's settings — name, email content, recipient list, and schedule. Edit the cloned campaign to update the name, subject, recipients, or schedule as needed before activating.
On an Inactive/Draft campaign, click the Activate action. The campaign will start sending emails according to its schedule.
On an Active campaign, click the Deactivate action. The campaign will stop and move back to Inactive/Draft status. Note: Emails that have already been sent cannot be recalled.
If you need to temporarily stop an active campaign without deactivating it, click the Pause action. The campaign will stop sending but retain its active state.
Click Resume on a paused campaign to continue sending from where it left off.
Once a campaign is completed and you no longer need it in your main view, click the Archive action. The campaign moves to the Archived tab. You can still view its analytics and email logs from there.
Click the Delete action to remove a campaign. Warning: This action cannot be undone. The campaign and its configuration will be permanently removed. Email logs and analytics for already-sent emails may still be available.
