Splash screens are the branded images attendees see when they launch your event app. The App Menu controls what navigation options appear in the bottom tab bar and side drawer. Both should be configured before your event goes live.
A splash screen is the full-screen branded image shown for 1–3 seconds when an attendee opens the app. Without custom splash screens, the app shows a default or blank white screen on launch.
Where to find it: Dashboard → Setup → Branding → Splash Screen
The Splash Screen page has three tabs: iOS Splash Screen, Android Splash Screen, Splash Screen Video.
iOS sizes:
| Slot | Dimensions |
|---|---|
| iPhone Standard | 1242 × 2208 px |
| iPhone Max / XR | 1290 × 2796 px |
Android sizes:
| Slot | Dimensions |
|---|---|
| Standard | 1242 × 2208 px |
| Large | 1290 × 2796 px |
| HD | 1080 × 1920 px |
| XHD | 1080 × 2400 px |
All 6 slots should be filled. If a slot is missing, the app falls back to a stretched or default image on that device type.

Each slot opens a built-in image cropper after upload. Use it to confirm your image is correctly positioned before saving.
Switch to the Splash Screen Video tab to upload an animated launch video:
Do not use 4K video. Many Android devices have compatibility issues playing 4K splash videos, and long intros frustrate attendees expecting a fast app launch.

Click Save in the bottom-right after completing all uploads.
The App Menu determines what navigation items attendees see in:

Drag items to reorder the side drawer list.
Toggle the dark mode preview switch at the top of the page to see how your menu configuration looks in dark mode before saving.
Click Save in the bottom-right.
Q: What happens if I leave a menu item’s display name blank?
A: The save will fail. Every item in the bottom menu — even disabled ones — must have a display name entered.
Q: Can I have more than 5 items in the bottom menu?
A: No. The bottom menu is limited to a maximum of 5 items. Use the Side Drawer for additional navigation items.
Q: Can I upload the same icon for both light mode and dark mode?
A: Yes, but for best results use a version of the icon that works visually on both backgrounds — or create two variants with different colors.
Q: My splash screen looks distorted on some devices — what should I check?
A: Verify that all 6 slots are filled. If any slot is empty, the app stretches an incorrect size to fill it. Re-upload any missing sizes at the exact pixel dimensions shown in each slot.
Q: My splash video isn’t playing — what format is required?
A: Confirm the file is MP4, aspect ratio is 9:16 (portrait), and resolution is 1080p or lower. Very large files may time out on upload — compress if needed.
