Session Rating lets your attendees rate individual sessions directly from the event app after they attend. You can collect star ratings, emoji reactions, open-ended comments, dropdown responses, and more — all through a fully customisable form. Responses are visible in real time in the admin panel and can be exported to Excel.

Eventify uses two types of rating forms:
| Form Type | What it is |
|---|---|
| Global Form | A default rating form that applies to all sessions unless overridden |
| Session-Specific Form | A custom form for one particular session, replacing the global form for that session only |
If no global form has been created yet, the Update Global button will not appear in the top bar. Create the global form first before creating session-specific overrides.

To override the global form for a single session:

Q: What happens if I don't create a session-specific form?
The session automatically uses the global form.
Q: Can I see which sessions have a custom form?
Yes — in the main Session Rating view, sessions with a custom form show a Reset to default and Update rating form link below the session name.
Q: What question types can I add?
Star rating, emoji rating, text input, dropdown, checkboxes, date picker, radio buttons, and more through the Form Builder.
