The App Home Screen layout controls what attendees see the moment they open your event app — which components appear, what order they’re in, and which ones are visible before login. You can customize this at any time, including while your event is live.
How to access: Dashboard → Setup → Branding → App Home Screen

The following components can be shown or hidden and rearranged:
Custom webview tabs you’ve added under Content also appear here as additional components — drag them into position like any other item.
Drag any visible component up or down to change its position. The component at the top of the list appears first on the attendee’s home screen.

Click the visibility toggle on any component to show or hide it. Hidden components move to the bottom of the list automatically.
Each component can be set as:
The public layout has its own independent ordering. Components marked Public can be arranged in a different order for the pre-login view than they appear in the full logged-in view.

There is no Save button for the Home Screen layout. Changes auto-save immediately — every toggle and every drag saves automatically within half a second. You will see a success confirmation when changes are applied.
This means your home screen layout is always live as you configure it.
Q: Do home screen changes apply immediately to the attendee app?
A: Yes — changes save automatically and apply to the app. Attendees may need to pull-to-refresh or restart the app to see the updated layout if they already have it open.
Q: Can I put hidden components before visible ones in the list?
A: No. The drag logic only allows reordering within the visible section. Hidden components always appear below all visible ones.
Q: If I set a component as Public, does it appear in two different positions?
A: Yes — the public layout (pre-login view) and the main layout (logged-in view) have independent orderings. A component can be in position 3 for logged-in attendees and position 1 for pre-login visitors.
Q: Why are some components missing from my list?
A: If your event doesn’t have a feature enabled (e.g., Gamification, Maps), those components may not appear or may be hidden by default. Custom webview tabs only appear if they’ve been enabled under Content settings.
Q: Can I preview what the home screen looks like before attendees see it?
A: Not directly from this screen — the list is the configuration view. Use the attendee app to review the live result after making changes.
