App Branding sets the core visual identity of your Eventify mobile app. This is where you upload your event logo, brand cover image, and choose the color theme that appears across navigation bars, buttons, and highlights throughout the app.
Where to find it: Dashboard → Setup → Branding → App Branding
The page loads with two sections side by side: image uploads on the left, color theme on the right.

Click Replace next to Event Logo.
Tip: Use a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background for the cleanest result across light and dark mode.

Upload an MP4 file to display an animated cover instead of a static image. It appears in the same position as the cover image. Use the Remove button at any time to revert to the static cover.
After you upload your logo, Eventify automatically extracts a color palette from the image and suggests dominant colors for your theme.
For Light Mode: Select a color from the suggested palette swatches, or click the color picker and enter your brand’s exact hex code (e.g. #2D6FF4).
For Dark Mode: Repeat the same process for the dark theme variant.
Theme colors are applied to: Navigation bars, button highlights, active menu items, accent colors, and UI indicators. They do not affect your web portal.

A Figma File Guide link appears in the top-right of the App Branding page. This gives you access to Eventify’s official design specifications and asset templates — useful when working with a designer on branded assets.

Click Save in the bottom-right corner. Changes apply to the mobile app after attendees refresh or restart the app.
Q: Why do my colors look different in the app than in the picker?
A: The auto-extracted palette suggests dominant colors from your logo — it doesn’t know your exact brand hex code. Click the color picker directly and enter your precise hex value (e.g. #FF5733) for an exact match.
Q: Can I use different colors for light mode and dark mode?
A: Yes — light and dark mode have separate color settings. You can use a lighter tone for light mode and a deeper tone for dark mode.
Q: Do color changes affect the web portal?
A: No. App branding and web branding are completely independent. Set web theme colors separately under Website Editor.
Q: What is the cover image used for?
A: It appears as the background image on the event discovery/search screen where attendees find and select your event.
Q: Can I remove the cover video and go back to a static image?
A: Yes — use the Remove button next to the cover video to revert to the static brand cover image.
