After sending a campaign, you will want to know how it performed. Eventify provides detailed analytics and email logs so you can track deliveries, opens, and failures. This guide shows you how to access and interpret your campaign performance data.
How To View Campaign Analytics
Step 1: Navigate to Campaign in the sidebar
From the Eventify Admin Panel, click on Campaign in the left sidebar.
Step 2: Find your campaign in the list
Locate the campaign you want to review. You can use the search bar to find it by name, or browse the tabs:
- All — Shows all campaigns
- Active — Currently running campaigns
- Completed — Campaigns that have finished sending
- Archived — Campaigns you have archived
Step 3: Click the analytics/statistics option on the campaign
On the campaign row, click the analytics or statistics action to view the campaign performance dashboard.
Understanding Campaign Metrics
The analytics view shows key performance metrics for your campaign:
- Total Recipients — The total number of contacts the campaign was sent to
- Delivered — Emails that were successfully delivered to the recipient's inbox
- Opened — Emails that were opened by the recipient
- Failed — Emails that could not be delivered (bounced, invalid address, etc.)
These metrics give you a quick overview of how well your campaign performed.
How To View Email Logs
Email logs provide a detailed, per-recipient breakdown of every email sent in the campaign.
Step 4: Click "View Email Logs" on the campaign
On the campaign row, click the View Email Logs action to open the detailed log view.
Step 5: Review the log entries
The email logs show a table with the following information for each recipient:
- Recipient Email — The email address the campaign was sent to
- Sent Timestamp — The date and time the email was dispatched
- Status — The current delivery status:
- Delivered — Email was successfully delivered to the inbox
- Opened — Email was delivered and opened by the recipient
- Failed — Email could not be delivered
- Failure Reason — If the email failed, the reason is shown (e.g., invalid email, mailbox full, spam filter)
Step 6: View email content from logs
Click on View Content on any log entry to see the actual email content that was sent to that recipient. This is useful for verifying that template variables were replaced correctly with the recipient's actual data.
How To Send a Test Email
You can send a test email at any time to verify how your campaign looks in an inbox.
Step 7: Click "Send Test Email" on the campaign
On the campaign row, click the Send Test Email action.
Step 8: Select a recipient for the test
Choose who should receive the test email — you can select from your contact users or event attendees. Enter or select the recipient and send.
Step 9: Check the test email in the recipient's inbox
Open the recipient's inbox to verify the email content, formatting, subject line, and that any template variables are displaying correctly.
Interpreting Your Results
Here is how to make sense of your campaign performance:
- High delivery, low opens — Your subject line may need improvement. Try A/B testing different subject lines in future campaigns.
- High failure rate — Check the failure reasons in the email logs. Common causes include invalid email addresses, full mailboxes, or spam filters. Consider cleaning your contact list.
- Good open rate — Your subject line and timing are working. Focus on improving the email content and calls-to-action for better engagement.
Tips
- Check logs within 24 hours of sending — Most opens happen within the first day.
- Clean up failed contacts — If the same contacts fail repeatedly, consider removing or updating their email addresses.
- Use test emails to verify before every campaign — Even small changes can break formatting across different email clients.
- Compare campaigns over time — Track open rates across campaigns to understand what content and timing works best for your audience.
