Hello,
I want to share something I have been excited about for a long time.
Today we are rolling out our AI Agent inside Eventify. We built it on something called MCP, the Model Context Protocol, and I want to take a few minutes to walk you through what it is, why we built it, and what it actually changes for the people who run events for a living.
A two minute look at the Eventify AI Agent in action.
🔌 A quick word on MCP
If you have not heard the term before, that is completely fine. Most people in our industry have not, and you should not have to. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. The simplest way I can describe it is this. It is a clean, standardised way for an AI model to talk to a software platform and actually do things inside it. Not just answer questions. Not just write text. Actually pull a list, create a session, add an attendee, send an email, on your behalf.
For years now, AI inside software has felt like a chatbot bolted on the side. You ask it something, it gives you an answer, and then you go back to doing the real work yourself. MCP closes that gap. It is the bridge that lets the AI take an instruction in plain English and run the action inside the actual product.
🎯 Why this matters for event managers
I have spent a long time watching event managers work. The job is enormous. You are juggling speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, sessions, attendees, badges, registration flows, on the day check ins, post event analytics, and a hundred small things in between. And on top of all that, every platform on the market expects you to learn its menus, its terminology, its workflows, before you can get anything done.
That has always bothered me. The product should bend to you, not the other way around.
So we asked ourselves a simple question. What if you could just say what you want, and it gets done? What if a new team member on day one did not have to spend two weeks figuring out where every setting lives, because they could just type something like "add Priya as a speaker for the keynote on day two and email her the speaker brief" and it would happen?
That is what we built.
🛎️ Think of it as your event concierge
I like to picture this as a concierge sitting next to you. The kind who knows the building, knows your event, knows your data, and just gets things done while you focus on the bigger picture.
📋 Need to bulk import 200 attendees from a spreadsheet? Tell it.
📊 Need to know which sessions had the lowest check in rate yesterday? Ask it.
🤝 Need to set up a new sponsor with a logo, a tier, and a link to their booth? Just say so.
🎟️ Need to send a magic link to a VIP who lost their ticket five minutes before doors open? One sentence.
The small stuff, the repetitive stuff, the stuff that quietly eats your afternoon, all of it can move to the agent. You stay in your seat as the strategist.
And here is the part I find genuinely powerful. You no longer have to learn the platform to get value out of it. If you can describe what you want in your own words, the work happens. That is a different relationship with software than the one most of us grew up with.
🔒 Why we built it native, and why that should matter to you
This is the part I really want event organisers to pay attention to.
There are a lot of tools out there right now that wire AI to your data through third party connectors. Replit style hosts, public agent platforms, middlemen of various shapes. They work, sort of, but every extra hop adds risk. Your attendee data, your sponsor contracts, your private session details, all of it is sensitive. You have signed agreements with your delegates that their information would be handled responsibly. Pushing that data through three external services to get one task done is not a trade I would accept for my own events, and I do not want our customers to make that trade either.
So we built our agent native to Eventify. The MCP server lives inside our own infrastructure. Your data does not leave. There is no Replit in the middle, no public agent host, no extra vendor walking around with a copy of your attendee list. The AI talks to Eventify, Eventify performs the action, and that is the whole loop. Clean, contained, and sitting under the same security and compliance framework as everything else we ship.
To the best of my knowledge, we are the first event management platform to ship this in production. That is not a marketing line. I looked.
🚀 Where this is going
Today is day one. The agent already covers a wide range of actions. Creating and configuring events, managing attendees, building agendas, setting up tickets, generating reports, handling RSVPs, working with speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors. It is a lot, and it is just the start.
Over the coming months we are adding more agentic tools. Some are simple, the kind of quality of life additions that save you ten minutes here and twenty minutes there. Others are bigger ideas. Live venue layout suggestions while you plan, automatic sponsor matchmaking against attendee profiles, analytics you can simply talk to in plain language and get answers from in seconds.
The future of event management, in my view, looks like this. The platform stops being a place where you click through screens to make things happen. It becomes a place where you describe outcomes, and the work happens around you. The skill that matters shifts from knowing the software to knowing your event.
That is the world we are building toward at Eventify, and I am really proud to be sharing the first real piece of it with you today.
📚 How to get started
Setting it up takes only a few minutes. We have put together a full knowledge base that walks you through connecting the agent to your Eventify account, configuring permissions, and running your first commands. You will find step by step guides, example prompts, and answers to the questions we hear most often.

The agent works with any MCP compatible AI client, and Claude Desktop is the smoothest experience to begin with today. If you get stuck anywhere, our support team is on standby this week to help you get up and running.
If you want to try the agent inside your account, reach out to your account manager or drop us a note at [email protected]. I would honestly love to hear what you build with it. Some of the best ideas in our roadmap have come from a customer messaging me on a Sunday saying "wouldn't it be cool if". 💙
Thank you for being part of this with us. Onwards.
