Two features — Auto-Publish and Live Display — change how questions flow from attendees to the room in real time. Here's exactly how each one works.
When Auto-Publish is on, every question an attendee submits is automatically moved to the Published tab without any manual moderation. Questions go live to all attendees the moment they are submitted.
When it is off, all questions land in the Unpublished queue and require your approval before anyone else sees them.
The Auto-Publish toggle is in the header of the Live Q&A screen, to the right of the session selector. Toggle it on or off — the change takes effect immediately for all new questions submitted after that point.

For Auto-Publish to function:
If either is off, Auto-Publish will not apply to that session.
Q: Can I switch Auto-Publish on and off mid-session?
A: Yes. Toggling it during a session takes effect immediately for questions submitted after the change. Questions already in the Unpublished queue are not affected.
Q: If Auto-Publish is on, can I still unpublish a question manually?
A: Yes. Auto-Publish controls what happens when a question first arrives. You can still unpublish any question manually at any time.
Q: Does Auto-Publish apply to all sessions at once?
A: The Auto-Publish toggle is an event-level setting — it applies across all sessions that have "Allow Live Q&A" enabled. There is no per-session Auto-Publish control.
The Live Display feature gives you a URL you can open on a projector or screen in the room. It shows published questions in large, readable text — updating automatically as you publish new ones — so the entire audience can see the active questions without looking at their phones.

Each session has its own Live Display URL. If your event has multiple sessions with Live Q&A enabled, you must copy a fresh URL each time you switch sessions. The URL changes when you select a different session in the dropdown.
Q: Does the Live Display update automatically when I publish a new question?
A: Yes. The Live Display screen updates in real time as you publish questions from the admin panel.
Q: Do I need to be logged in to view the Live Display URL?
A: No. The Live Display URL is a public page designed to be shown on a projector without logging in.
Q: The Live Display button is not visible in my account. Why?
A: Live Display on large screens is available on select Eventify plans. Contact your account manager to confirm whether your plan includes this feature.
Q: What happens on the Live Display if I unpublish a question?
A: It disappears from the Live Display screen immediately.
