The Gamification Leaderboard now shows an Awards count for every participant alongside their Points, and both columns can be sorted independently. This makes it easier to see not just who's earning the most points, but who's collecting the most badges, challenges, or recognitions along the way.
This lets you build two different views of engagement:
Q: What counts as an "award" in the Awards column?
A: An award is any badge, challenge completion, or recognition configured in your event's gamification rules that has been granted to a participant. Set up and manage these under Manage Challenges and Rules Setup.
Q: Does sorting by Awards change a participant's Position number?
A: Yes. The Position column always reflects the current sort order, whether you're sorted by Points or Awards.
Q: Can I sort by both Points and Awards at the same time?
A: No, you can sort by one column at a time. Choose whichever metric best answers the question you're trying to answer (overall score vs. award activity).
Q: If I reset a participant's points, does it also reset their Awards count?
A: No. Resetting points only affects the Points total. Awards are tracked separately and remain on the participant's record unless individually revoked.
Q: Can attendees see the Awards count themselves?
A: This depends on your event's public leaderboard settings. Check Rules Setup to control what participants see on their end.
Q: Will the Awards column appear in my exported leaderboard file?
A: Yes, the Export button includes the Awards count alongside Points and Position in the downloaded file.
Q: Can I search for a participant instead of scrolling through the list?
A: Yes, use the Search bar above the leaderboard table to jump straight to a participant by name.
