Push notifications let you reach attendees directly on their phones — instantly. Whether you're sharing an urgent update, promoting a session, or driving engagement, Eventify's push notification tool puts your message in front of the right people in seconds.
From your event dashboard, go to Outreach → Push Notifications. Click + Create New in the top-right corner.
In the Send Push Notification modal, select your notification type:
| Type | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Push | Sends a push notification to the app. Supports scheduling. |
| Push + Email | Sends a push notification and an email simultaneously. Sent immediately only — scheduling is not available for this type. |
Note: Once a notification is created, you cannot change the type. Choose before you send.
Upload an image for your notification. Required size: 200×200px. The image appears alongside your notification title on the attendee's device.
Enter a Title and Message for your notification. Both fields support multiple languages if your event is multilingual.
Keep titles short — most devices truncate after 50–65 characters.
Select who receives the notification:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| All Attendees | Sends to everyone registered |
| By Group | Sends to a specific attendee group |
| Specific Users | Sends to individually selected attendees |
You can also set the Target User Category:
Under Redirect Type, choose where tapping the notification takes the attendee:
For internal links, use the search box to find the specific item.
Select Send Now under delivery time, then click Send. The notification is delivered immediately to all targeted attendees.
Q: Can I send a notification without an image?
A: Yes. The image field is optional. Without an image, the notification displays title and message text only.
Q: What happens if an attendee has notifications turned off?
A: They will not receive the push. If you selected Push + Email, they will still receive the email.
Q: Can I edit a notification after sending it?
A: No. Delivered notifications cannot be edited. You can delete them from the Delivered tab.
Q: How many attendees can I send to at once?
A: There is no cap — you can send to your full attendee list in a single notification.
