The Budget Planner is Eventify's built-in financial management tool. It lets you set expense estimates before your event, record actual amounts as they are incurred, and see the variance between the two in real time.
How to access: Dashboard → Budget Planner

| Section | What You Do There |
|---|---|
| Budget Dashboard | Real-time overview of your financial position — charts, summary tiles, and latest transactions |
| Budget Plan | Set up expense and income estimates, manage categories and line items |
| Transactions | Record actual spend, search and filter entries, export reports |
Budget Planner tracks two things in parallel:
The system calculates the variance between the two automatically. You can monitor this on the Budget Dashboard at any time.
Budget Planner is a feature-gated module. If your plan does not include it, the sidebar item will redirect you to the Overview page. Contact your Eventify account manager to confirm or upgrade access.
Yes. Budget Planner is admin-only. Attendees and general users have no access to budget data within the platform. When exporting reports, share files deliberately — they contain financial data not visible to attendees.
Yes. You select one currency when setting up your budget. That currency applies to all estimates and transaction amounts. Eventify does not convert amounts between currencies — if an expense was incurred in a different currency, convert it manually before entering it.
Q: Can I use the Budget Planner for both income and expenses?
A: Expense estimates and actuals are fully tracked. Income estimates can be entered for internal planning reference — they are not calculated against actual transactions. The Budget Plan includes an Income Estimate tab for this purpose.
Q: Can multiple team members access the Budget Planner?
A: Any admin with access to the event's admin panel can view and edit the Budget Planner. There are no individual permission settings within the module itself.
Q: Is there a limit on how many line items or categories I can add?
A: No documented limit. You can create as many categories, subcategories, and transaction entries as your event requires.
