The Ice Breaker community type in Eventify creates a structured networking space where attendees answer a set of questions and then browse each other’s answers. It’s designed to spark conversations and connections in a low-pressure format.
Where to find it: Dashboard → Content → Community → select an Ice Breaker community → Ice Breaker tab

Admins define a set of questions. Attendees open the Ice Breaker in the app and answer each question. They can then browse other attendees’ answers, which creates a natural opening for follow-up conversations and networking.
Attendees cannot add their own questions — only admins define the question set.
When creating the community (Dashboard → Content → Community → Add Community), select Ice Breaker as the community type. Configure the name, icon, and visibility settings as needed, then save.
Open the Ice Breaker community and go to the Ice Breaker tab. Click Add Question to add questions for attendees to answer.
Question limits:

Each question has its own background color. Click the color picker next to a question to assign a color. This color appears as the card background when attendees view that question in the app, making the experience visually varied and engaging.

Attendees see each question card one at a time in the app. They type their answer and submit it. Once they have answered all questions, they can browse other attendees’ answers — one card per person — and tap to connect or start a conversation.
Q: Can attendees skip a question?
A: This depends on your configuration. Check with your Eventify account manager for the exact attendee-facing behavior for your plan.
Q: Can I edit or delete a question after attendees have already answered it?
A: You can edit questions in the admin panel. Be aware that editing a question after responses have been submitted may cause confusion for attendees who already answered the original version.
Q: What is the minimum number of questions required?
A: You must add at least 3 questions before the Ice Breaker becomes active for attendees.
Q: Can attendees add their own questions?
A: No. Only admins can add or manage Ice Breaker questions. Attendees only answer the questions you define.
Q: Is there a character limit per question?
A: Webflow and Eventify do not publish a specific character limit for questions, but keep questions concise for the best attendee experience.
