Private communities in Eventify require attendees to request membership before they can access the content. As an admin, you manage all membership requests and current members from the Members tab inside the community.
Where to find it: Dashboard → Content → Community → select a Private community → Members tab

The Members tab is organized into four sub-tabs:
| Tab | Shows |
|---|---|
| Accepted | All current active members of the community |
| Requested | Attendees who have requested to join but not yet been approved |
| Removed | Members who have been removed by an admin |
| Left | Members who left the community on their own |

Go to the Requested tab. Each pending request shows the attendee’s name and profile details. Click Approve to accept the request — the attendee moves to the Accepted tab and gains access to the community immediately.
You can also reject a request if the attendee should not be allowed in.

You can add an attendee to a Private community without them having to submit a join request. Use the Add Member button in the Members tab, search for the attendee by name or email, and add them directly. They are added to the Accepted tab immediately, bypassing the request workflow.

In the Accepted tab, find the member and click Remove. The attendee is moved to the Removed tab and immediately loses access to the community content. They will no longer see the community in their app.
Go to the Removed tab. Find the attendee and click Reinstate (or equivalent action). This moves them back to the Accepted tab, restoring their access to the community.

Q: Can I approve multiple join requests at once?
A: Bulk approval depends on your Eventify version. Check the Requested tab for a bulk select option.
Q: If a member leaves the community, can they rejoin?
A: Yes. A member who left (shown in the Left tab) can submit a new join request, which you can then approve from the Requested tab.
Q: Does a removed member receive a notification?
A: Eventify does not send an automatic notification to a removed member by default.
Q: Can I see when a member joined the community?
A: The Accepted tab shows member details. Timestamp visibility depends on your Eventify configuration.
Q: What is the difference between the Removed tab and the Left tab?
A: The Removed tab shows attendees who were removed by an admin. The Left tab shows attendees who chose to leave on their own.
