The Settings panel for each floor map controls its publish status, what attendees see in the app, who can access the map, and how it can be embedded on external websites. Open it from the floor map list — not from inside the editor.
At the top of the Settings panel, a Status dropdown sets the map's published state:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Draft | Being built — not visible to anyone |
| Live | Published and visible to attendees (in combination with Display in IMap) |
| Hidden | Exists but hidden from the attendee app |
| Toggle | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Display in IMap | OFF | When ON: the map appears in the attendee app. Must be ON for attendees to see the map — even if Status is Live. |
| Show Company List | OFF | Displays a searchable list of companies with booths alongside the floor map in the app. |
| Display Booth Price | OFF | Shows booth pricing on the map in the app — useful for events with publicly purchasable booths. |
| Sold-out Booth Visibility | OFF | When ON: sold-out or assigned booths display with a distinct visual style (greyed/subdued) so attendees can see which spaces are taken. |
Toggle Protected Map to control who can view the floor map.
| Setting | Who can view |
|---|---|
| OFF (Public) | Anyone with the map link can view it |
| ON (Protected) | Only email addresses you add to the Access Email List |
When Protected Map is ON, an Access Email List field appears. Enter email addresses separated by commas. Only those addresses can access the map.
The Settings panel displays the public booth portal URL for this map — the link attendees and exhibitors use to browse and purchase booth space. Click the copy icon to copy it to your clipboard and share it directly.
The Settings panel includes an Embed Code section with a ready-to-use <iframe> snippet. Paste it into any external webpage to embed the interactive floor map.
Hide Header/Footer checkbox: When checked, the Eventify navigation header and footer are stripped from the embedded view — only the map is shown.
Why isn't my floor map showing in the app even though it's saved?
Two settings must both be active: Status = Live and Display in IMap = ON. Check both in the Settings panel.
What is the difference between Status and Display in IMap?
Status (Draft/Live/Hidden) is the map's overall publish state. Display in IMap controls whether the map appears in the interactive map section of the attendee app specifically. Both must be set correctly.
What does Sold-out Booth Visibility do exactly?
When ON, booths that have been sold, reserved, or assigned display with a distinct visual treatment (e.g. subdued colour) in the attendee app, so attendees can immediately see which spaces are taken.
Can I restrict the floor map to specific people?
Yes. Enable Protected Map and add the allowed email addresses. Only those addresses can view the map — useful for pre-event previews with select exhibitors.
