At Eventify, we care for the privacy of your information. Our team has created this “Privacy Policy” statement to familiarise you with what information we collect, how the information is used, and the way in which information security is ensured. You are also strongly advised to go through our Terms of Use before registering on Eventify.

What Information Do We Collect?

To get you started, we ask for certain personal information from you, such as your full name and email. Going forward, you might be required to provide your phone number, company name (if applicable), and the way in which you plan to use the Eventify services.

Accessing Information From Third Party Sources

In addition to the information you opt to share with us directly, we might also access relevant data about you/your company through social media channels and other third-party resources. Please note that information sourced in this manner is used to personalise the services delivered to you.

We might also get and store information about you/your company passively – as you start using our digital app-building platform. Once again, the information you provide while creating event apps is used to customise our platform and make things even more convenient for you.

What Do We Use Your Information For?

We use all personal, identifiable information (i.e., information that can be traced back to reveal your identity) in a fully responsible manner – to improve our services, and to deliver greater convenience & efficiency to you. In a nutshell, we use your information to:

  • Make our web portal and our product (Eventify) better and more customised.
  • Provide the core services and functions for building your event apps.
  • Ensure app-level and personal-level information security.
  • Regularly communicate with you on an one-on-one basis.
  • Respond to your queries, feedback and suggestions.

We might also use your information for promotional purposes – for example, emails about new features and/or updates of the Eventify tool. You have the option of opting out of such emails, if you feel like. We won’t ever disturb you with bulk spam mails though!

Please note that the information you provide on the Eventify platform is never shared, sold, rented, manipulated or misused in any other way for commercial purposes. Should you decide to remove any information that had been shared earlier, drop an email at hello@eventify.io.

Note: Eventify is not meant to be used by, and does not collect information about, individuals under the age of 13.

 

Importance Of RESPONSIBLE USER BEHAVIOUR

The internet is not the safest of places. No app in the world can give you 100% security assurances. While our IT department is constantly on the lookout for probable security breaches, you also need to be responsible about how you share information over the web. Kindly note that Eventify cannot be held responsible for wilful alteration, distortion and misuse of personal data – arising from indiscriminate/careless usage of the said information.

Data Protection Under GDPR

Residents of the European Union and Switzerland are entitled to the protection of their data under EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and/or other laws applicable. This section addresses the aforementioned concerns.

How We Collect Your Data:

All personal data we collect comes from you when you sign up for a free/paid membership at Eventify, when you proceed to use the service and provide additional information necessary for using the services we provide. We may also obtain your information from third-party sources. Please refer to the section “Accessing Information From Third-Party Sources” for more information.

What We Do With Your Data:

We use your personal data in a completely responsible manner to facilitate efficient service to you and improve it as and when required. The information we collect from you is essential for the smooth working of Eventify, as well as to ensure the security of that data. Legal Grounds for Processing Your Data:

By agreeing to the Privacy Policy, you provide your consent to allow processing of your data by us. You can remove any information subsequently or withdraw consent anytime by emailing us at hello@eventify.com. Refer to the section titled “What Do We Use Your Information For” to learn more.

Third-Party Data Sharing:

We will share your data with third-parties who use the app to further services that allow said third-parties to use the services we provide. How Long We Store Your Data:

Your personal data is stored with us as long as we deem it necessary for the provision of our services and for our client/s as well, for business purposes. We may also store your data for as long as the law requires.

Usage Of “Cookies”

Cookies are tiny internet files that live in your browser. We use cookies to personalise your website visits, to “remember” your preferences, and to “recognise” you on subsequent visits – to provide greater personalisation. In case you do not want this, you can easily clear all cookies from your browser.
