Design personalized quest experiences by defining the treasure hunt title, task mode, participant type, and eligible users. Choose between sequential or flexible task completion, and tailor the quest to individuals or teams. This setup ensures a structured and engaging challenge journey for all participants.
Setting Up a New Quest: Define Your Challenge, Participant Rules and Keep Your Attendees Engaged
Kick off a new quest in just a click—hit the Add Challenge button and choose Add Quest from the dropdown. You’ll be taken to the Quest Details screen, where you can craft your quest by entering all the essential details.
Start by entering a Treasure Hunt Title and a short description that clearly explains the purpose or theme of the quest. Next, choose the Task Mode—either Sequential Task Mode, which requires participants to complete tasks in a specific order, or Any Order, which allows them to complete tasks freely. Then, select the Participant Type as either an Individual Participant or a Team Participant, depending on how you want the quest to be structured. Finally, under Quest Participants, you can decide whether the quest will be open to Everyone, Specific Users, or Selected User Groups. Once all details are filled out, you can proceed to the next step by clicking the Continue button.
After clicking on Continue, the Quest Challenge Task Page will appear. Start by providing a Title for each task, which briefly describes the challenge or activity. You can also include a Description to give more context or instructions. Next, you can specify the Reward Type as either Points or an Award depending on how you want to reward the attendee.
Additionally, if you want the points or award to be given only after the host verifies the task, you can enable the Manual Verification button.
You can also add multiple tasks by clicking the Add Another Task button. If you need to change the order of the tasks, simply drag and drop them into your preferred arrangement. This flexibility allows you to customize the task flow to best suit your event. Once all tasks are set, proceed to the next step by clicking Continue.
After clicking on Continue, you will be taken to the Quest Settings Page. On this page, start by entering the Rules of the challenge. These rules will help attendees understand what is expected and how they can participate. Next, specify the Maximum Number of Winners and also set the Start Date and End Date.
Finally, set the Challenge Status to either Enabled or Disabled. Enabling the challenge makes it live and visible to attendees, while disabling it keeps it hidden or inactive. Once all these details are filled in, make sure to save your settings to activate the challenge configuration.
To manage your existing challenges, you can use the options available in Manage Challenges Page.
To view participant submissions, click on the View Entries button next to the respective challenge.
If you need to make changes to the challenge, click on the Edit icon to open and update the challenge details.
To control whether a challenge is active or not, simply use the Enable/Disable toggle button.
