With the start of the new decade and in line with the World Health Organisation’s (WHO), the European Week of Active & Healthy Ageing (EWAHA) will look into the most pressing priorities for an ageing Europe.
The topics promoted by WHO will be included in the online event in November:
1. Align Health & care systems with the needs of an ageing population (drawing on the emerging learnings from the Coronavirus outbreak in 2020);
2. Intergenerational Solidarity;
3. Make the socio-economic case for impact investment into healthy ageing;
4. The role of technology for active & healthy ageing in Europe, including the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence
The online week will feature a series of debates and webinars. Each session will last maximum 45 minutes to one hour with a maximum of three speakers. There will be two sessions per day envisaged.
